Established in Autumn of 2023, flora.culture was born of a personal desire for change and growth, an outlet for and expression of creativity and passion. Formed from the bits and pieces of flowers tucked here and there throughout years of vegetable gardening, wreath making and foraging; before finally making the commitment to grow flowers and flowers alone. Flora.Culture is here to fill a void of sustainably grown, local flowers and eco-conscious floral design options on the Boothbay Peninsula and surrounding communities. 

I take inspiration for my designs from the colors, forms and textures that flood the gardens as the seasons move through. Each garden element is thoughtfully curated so as to consider the symbiotic relationship between the flowers I choose to grow and the local eco-system. In keeping with the ethos of nurturing sustainability in my own business, our local economy, and globally; sourcing for designs starts in my own gardens first, other Maine flower growers and last but not least Mother Nature for foraged finds.
